On Saturday 3 October, a team of Vista colleagues will be taking on one of our toughest fundraising challenges yet, climbing Snowdon through the night in support of our long-standing charity partner, Wood Street Mission.
Setting off just before midnight, the team will face an eight-hour trek to the summit of Wales’ highest mountain before making the descent in the early hours of the morning. With darkness, unpredictable weather and challenging terrain ahead, it promises to be an unforgettable experience, all for a cause that means a great deal to everyone at Vista.
Supporting a charity close to our hearts
Wood Street Mission has been helping children and families across Greater Manchester for more than 150 years, providing practical support to those experiencing poverty. From school uniforms and clothing to books, toys and essential everyday items, the charity works tirelessly to ensure that children have the opportunities and resources they need to thrive.
Vista has proudly supported Wood Street Mission throughout our journey, and for many years before that through previous broking businesses. Over the years, our teams have taken part in fundraising events, Christmas appeals, volunteering initiatives and community projects, all with the shared goal of making a positive difference where it’s needed most.
The Snowdon at Night Challenge is the latest chapter in that commitment.
Why we’re taking on the challenge
As a business, we believe in supporting the communities around us, not just through financial donations, but by giving our time, energy and commitment to causes that matter.
This challenge will push our team both physically and mentally, but every step we take will help raise funds for families who need support. Knowing the impact Wood Street Mission has across Greater Manchester will be all the motivation we need to reach the summit.

Please support our team
We’re aiming to raise as much as possible for Wood Street Mission, and every donation, whatever the amount, will make a genuine difference.
If you’d like to support the team as we prepare for our overnight climb, we’d be incredibly grateful.
Please donate here and help us make a real difference for children and families across Greater Manchester.
Thank you for your support from everyone at Vista.
